It is our policy that every employee works under the safest possible conditions; therefore, safety through education is a continuous process and we are dedicated to it.
Working closely with the NECA/IBEW, Christenson Electric has taken a proactive approach to promoting an awareness and appreciation of safe workplace practices. Our safety programs go well beyond a new hire safety orientation. They are built into the methodology of every construction project, beginning with a detailed hazard analysis preformed at the start of every job. Safety is then supported through foremen safety orientations, project safety meetings, weekly toolbox safety meetings and daily task-specific safety reviews. As a result of our commitment to safety, our experience rating is ranked with the best!
At Christenson, all employees are encouraged to participate in educational opportunities provided by state and federal agencies in the area of our operations as well as training, endorsed and provided by Christenson Electric and NECA/IBEW. We train in everything from ergonomics to high-voltage safety.
