Substation Construction Site Foreman:

Christenson Electric, Inc. is actively looking for substation construction site lead or equivalent in experience.

Description

This job consists of supervising crews and subcontractors in the construction of substations, switchyards, etc. from 34.5kV to 500kV.

Our clients are typically electric utility companies and private commercial companies. The locations of these jobs can be anywhere in the US,

however, we are looking to potentially fill positions in Oregon Washington and Nevada. The applicant should be willing to travel to the job sites.

Each project can last from a week to more than a year.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years experience supervising the construction of electrical stations

Union membership with either a wireman or lineman classification

Current driver’s license (CDL)

This position will require an employment reference check, social security and requisite drug testing.  Employment is contingent upon acceptable outcomes of these checks.
